There were small maintenance issue but they addressed them as soon as we let them know. Fishing was good for August anyone who fishing knows why it's called fishing rather then catching. I would go back for the money you can't beat it. Recommend going in prime time which is spring

Even with 5 people, my room wasn't the least bit cramped. The food was great, and the boat rentals were very enjoyable for my group. After my experience here, I'm already planning my next trip back.

They worked hard to supply us with what we needed. The only complaint I have is that the owner was not friendly and never welcomed us . He's luckly to have the staff he has.
The rooms were great and so was the service, but the lake is really shallow about 4. Foot deep and full of cypress knees , I would not take my boat there because of the stumps ,the fishing was terrible we caught nothing in a 4 day trip ,but it was hot and rained everyday while we was there .
I have to give them a 5. This is a sporting resort. No fancy frills just good clean and comfortable place. The food was great and service was fantastic. Warm people and very helpful.Beautiful view. We will be back.

Awesome down home family oriented. Great bank fishing boat rentals clean rooms and a full bar and dining. The Virginia Dare Walking Trail is unique and breath taking. Bring your camera.
